I don't know why this wasn't mentioned at the Diesel Brothers exhibit at SEMA, but they are working with Chuck Norris on a sweepstakes give away truck... called, what else, Truck Norris
if you go to the trucknorris.com website, you can learn about the truck features by putting your cursor over the red dots.
Right? So, to get the chance to win it, you have to register, join the "adventure" club, buy the merch which looks like Chuck Norris springwater, and the more you buy the more "trail points" towards a chance at getting the truck or something.
Look, retired actors have to do something to pay the taxes on their Texas estates. Chuck's hockin' bottled water. Why the hell not, there are a lot of people wasting money buying water, and very few buying karate clothes and belts.
I've never heard of Maverik stores, CForce water, or the tv show Diesel Brothers. And believe me, not watching commercials is a relief... If the commercials are any good, you'll either get told how good they are, or they'll show up during the superbowl or something. Hell, I just posted two, so you can get some idea of what this is all about, as it's how I tell you the news that I think is cool, or interesting enough to share.

so much WANT! A 1959 Atlas truck from England
Produced in 1959 the Atlas 10/12 cwt pickup was marketed as a ‘Sturdy, reliable, easy to handle and all always quick off the mark whatever the weather.’
Fully restored in 1997 this multi award winning pickup is in immaculate condition proudly wearing the shell branding. The history file contains original brochures, servicing manuals and a variety of MOTs along with historic photos of the vehicle in past liveries, medals and trophies.
This would be the ideal Goodwood ride, with the pick-up bay more than capable of carrying a few period-correct passengers revelling in the Revival atmosphere.'

the "Buddy" Stewart truck
The Stewart Motor Company was founded in 1912 in Buffalo NY by Thomas Lippard and R. G. Stewart. and for the next thirty years they manufactured some of the finest medium duty trucks in the USA. Their marketing plan was to be a moderately priced model between the two giants International Harvester and REO. Every manufacturer had a name for their light duty trucks. Stewart called their's the "Buddy" to compete with the International "Special Delivery" and the REO "Speed Wagon".
The Stewart Motor Corporation of Buffalo, New York, began building commercial vehicles in 1912. For 1915 and 1916 only, hey offered a passenger car, before returning to what they did best. In 1926 they introduced the “Buddy”– a medium truck with road-going performance During the 1921 model year, he Stewart Company announced that it was going to manufacture its first civilian pickup truck. This new addition was market towards the everyday tradesman or farmer, here the previous models were almost exclusively marketed commercial. The Stewart pickup was then offered as an express, stake, panel and a special farmer’s model.

It's the season of the Hoon... and throwing the Ranger into reverse at 40mph and then into drive, made a good smoke show, but probably will kill the trans early

the Powell Sport Wagon, a rare California made truck, and this might be the best condition one existing anymore. (they only made about 1200)
I've posted Powell's before, but this one is the best gallery of photos of one I've ever seen. Most photographers give up with the front and back photo, as it's a clunky Russian looking lack of design truck at best, but this one is for sale in Georgia, and they took the time to take photos of the inside, and the slide out tool box... that is to be applauded

the Mopar 16, will be the Ram Rebel. Mopar has never chosen a pickup truck to turn into their annual special edition vehicle until now.
the press release says that previous limited-edition Mopar vehicles were delivered with a custom owner's kit. I've seen a half dozen come through the used car dept at the dodge dealership I work at, but I've never seen one of these souvenir kits.
According to the Rebel website forum, no one has gotten the kit bag after buying a Mopar 16 so far, Mopar has told those buyers that they aren't made yet, and won't be shipped out from HQ for a while, one owner was told Fiat was going to personalize the (data plaque) birth certificate for each owner
This one will feature Mopar '16 merchandise, a brochure and a unique metal birth certificate that highlights truck specifications, date of manufacture and the proprietary number. Kit contents are stored in an attractive case and packaged in a Ram-branded tool bag.

These are civil war vets. It's odd to think about the civil war, 150 odd years ago, and then realize the survivors lived into the 1930s....

C., before President Lincoln at the close of the conflict.
Born In Tippecanoe, Indiana April 20, 1846, Mr. Van Natta was aged 85 years, six months and nine days at the time of his death.
