Tesla Edition
With more than 450 sales last month, the Canadian EV market was slightly down regarding the same month last year, with Tesla doing much of the heavy-lifting that previously was done by the Chevrolet Volt, now with GM's plug-in waiting for the Second Gen Volt, due later in the year, Tesla profits from the new D versions to jump for the leadership, placing the bar really high for the next generation Volt.
Looking elsewhere, the Leaf continues to be the other model in the three-digit-zone (112 units) cementing the #2, while the Smart Fortwo ED and BMW i8 jump a couple of positions and are now tied in #5.
The Mitsubishi I-Miev continues to impress (21 units), doubling sales regarding the same month last year and hoping to have a word on the 2nd League title...
