Dynamic Duo Edition
With 483 EV's sold, this was yet another record month in Belgium, with YoY sales up 140% and the EV Share rising again to 0,84% (Also record numbers), will we see it pass the 1% barrier by year end? I wouldn't bet against it.
The main reason for this record were the top two models, the Tesla Model S and the Porsche Cayenne Plug-In, both registering record performances (159 units for the first, 121 for the second), with the american car setting a new all time high for monthly sales of a single model.
But they weren't the only to shine, the Mercedes B-Class ED sold a record 12 units, jumping three positions to #14, while the little VW e-Up! changed positions with the Merc, dropping from #14 to #17. Maybe it's time for the german carmaker to give a haircut on the e-Up!
In the manufacturers ranking, Porsche continues to lead (23%), followed Tesla (21%) and BMW, with 16%.
