Looking at individual performances, the local sweetheart Chevrolet Volt was once again Best Seller of the month, with 316 units, something that has been doing since the year started. Will it be able to improve the two year streak (2011-2013) of the First Generation Volt?
December spoiler alert: The Volt reached 272 units last month, up 24%, so the good news continue to flow around Canada's favorite EV.
The other significant model with available numbers is the Nissan Leaf, with not so positive news, the 75 units sold in December represent a drop of 38% YoY.
Looking at the remaining models, the main news were the 67 units delivered of the Porsche Cayenne PHEV, a new personal best that allowed it to reach #7, on the other hand, the Tesla Model S only had 50 deliveries in November, its worst result since January.
A new (And surprising) model has arrived, with four Fiat 500e being registered in British Columbia, does this mean Fiat is actually interested in market its little EV in Canada, or was it just a one time thing?
After letting escape the 2015 manufacturers title to Tesla, Chevrolet (33% share) will be the most likely 2016 trophy bearer, being followed by Tesla (24%, up 1%) and Nissan (13%, down 1%).
