Nissan is Getting Closer Edition
After losing the Euro trophies to the competition and the US #1 for the Nissan Leaf, it looks that Chevrolet will be losing also Canada, putting an end to the last best selling title that The General child had.
In fact, the japanese hatch improved sales for the sixth consecutive month, now at 117 sales, pretty close to the 132 registered by the Chevrolet Volt, the distance between them is still huge (384 units) in the YTD ranking, but the trend is there, and if not this year, the next should see the Leaf win its first canadian best selling title, putting an end to the Volt leadership that has been going since it arrived, back in 2011.
Other than that, the Smart Fortwo ED continues to impress in #4 and the BMW i3 is climbing in the ranking, it's now in the first half, more precisely in #6.
Final mention for the sales record of the Cadillac ELR, 5 were registered this month, meaning canadian Cadillac dealers joined their southern neighbors and started to give generous discounts to move them off the lots...
