In the midst of a falling French Auto market, the EV market niche is holding on, selling 1.331 units, a 6% increase over the same month last year, which took the EV Share to increase slightly to 0,86%. 

With the French Government now surprisingly going against diesel cars, it looks that electric cars could take advantage of it and grow significantly next year, a welcome move for Renault, now that the Zoe is growing again, but Peugeot-Citröen seem to have been caught with their trousers down, as the Mitsubishi-PSA electric joint-venture future looks uncertain, to say the least.   

Looking at the monthly models ranking, the front runners are in their the usual 1-2-3 distribution (Zoe-Kangoo ZE-Leaf), with a surprise Fourth, as the LCV Goupil enters the Top 5 with 73 units sold, its best result since July '13, while Bolloré ends in #5, making an almost 100% homegrown ranking, with only the japanese Leaf spoiling the picture. Although, as part of Renault-Nissan Alliance, one can say that there are french electrons running through their batteries...

In the YTD table, the top positions continued the same, with the only changes happening at the lower half of the ranking, with the Kia Soul EV rising to #20 and the BMW i8 finally appearing on the radar at #23 and 8 units sold in November.

Another model showing up was the Porsche 918, registering its first unit in France.
