Kia is finding its way in Iceland |
"Full Speed Ahead!" Edition
Iceland continues to post amazing performances, ending March with 50 units, a new record, and the First Quarter with 94 plug-in registrations, it might not sound much volume-wise, but when you consider the EV Share of the total market, you have...4,7%! And remember, plug-ins only landed on the island three years ago...
Looking at the models ranking, Nissan is leading the pack (Something it has been doing since 2013),
while in Second we have a novelty, the VW e-Golf has beaten the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV into #2, while Volkswagen as a brand is also Second, and even closing in on Nissan (30% vs 37%), with the Kia Soul EV carving its own niche behind the Top Players, probably still waiting for more available units from the Mothership to make its way into more memorable positions.
