Mitsu Outlander PHEV practical trunk |
After two horrible months, the japanese plug-in market started to recover, thanks to a good month of the Nissan Leaf (1.045 units), which contributed greatly for the 1.303 units sold in June, a 41% increase over the 924 of May and a help for the EV share to recover to 0,80%, a 0,03% increase over 2012.
As for Mitsubishi, it still leads the manufacturers ranking with 52% share, but Nissan closed the gap by half and is now just 9% behind the Tokyo-based company, which had another catastrophic month, selling just 158 units.
