A record 39 EV's were sold in Iceland last month, jumping the EV Share yet again to 2,50%, which makes me wonder if some of these sales aren't imports...If anyone has an insight on this, i would appreciate more details on it.
Anyway, assuming these numbers are the real deal, the Nissan Leaf sold a record 17 units, counting 98 since the beggining of the year and representing 60% of the market, while behind it, the Tesla Model S lost the Second Place to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, a car that seems well suited for this market.
A lot of newcomers coming in, two of the LCV variety, with the e-NV200 winning over the Renault Kangoo ZE, while the Kia Soul EV landed in October with their first two registrations. A curious absence from this market are the i-branded BMW's, when will they arrive?
