The Honda CR-V, 2700 sales back of the Rogue in December, nevertheless claimed the top position over the course of 2016, outselling the second-ranked Toyota RAV4 by 5181 units and the third-ranked Rogue by 22,250 units.
The 2017 Honda CR-V is an all-new model, the Nissan Rogue is refreshed for 2017, and Toyota has plans for increased RAV4 production in calendar year 2017.
